Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Levedia website at levedia.app and to our mobile apps, starting with Veggie (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully. By downloading or using our apps, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

1. Who we are

The Services are provided by Kalácska Gábor e.v., a sole proprietor (egyéni vállalkozó) registered in Hungary, trading as Levedia (“Levedia”, “we”, “us”).

  • Registered address: 1033 Budapest, Búza utca 8., Hungary
  • Registration number (nyilvántartási szám): 62893088
  • Tax number (adószám): 92428281-1-41
  • EU VAT number: HU92428281
  • Email: hello@levedia.app

These Terms are available in English. We don’t file individual contracts, but you can view these Terms on our website at any time.

2. Important: not medical advice

Veggie is a simple logging tool that helps you keep track of the different plant foods you eat. It is designed for general wellbeing only.

  • Veggie doesn’t provide medical, nutritional or dietary advice, and it isn’t a medical device.
  • Nothing in our apps, guides or website is a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.
  • Goals such as “30 plants a week” are general ideas, not personal recommendations. We don’t promise any particular health result.
  • Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, especially if you have a health condition, food allergies or intolerances, are pregnant, or take medication.
  • If you have, or have had, an eating disorder, please speak with a healthcare professional before using any food-tracking app.

3. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 16 years old to use our apps. If you’re younger, you may use them only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Your licence to use our apps

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded them from.

You may not:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the apps or any part of them;
  • reverse engineer the apps or try to extract their source code, except where the law allows it;
  • use the Services in a way that breaks the law or interferes with their normal operation.

5. Free trial, purchases and subscriptions

Free trial. You can use all of Veggie’s features free for 7 days from when you first open the app. No payment is taken during the trial, and it doesn’t turn into a paid plan automatically. When the trial ends, you can choose whether to continue with a paid option.

Paid options. To keep using Veggie after the trial, you can choose:

  • a subscription that renews automatically, monthly or yearly; or
  • a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks the app for as long as we offer it.

Prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy and may vary by country. All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms. We never receive your payment details.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your store account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We can’t issue refunds for store purchases directly.

Price changes. If a subscription price changes, you will be told in advance through the app store, as its rules and the law require. A lifetime purchase is never charged again.

Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device with the same App Store or Google Play account, you can restore your purchase from the app’s settings.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital content. When you buy, you agree that we start providing the paid features immediately, and you acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal. This doesn’t affect your other legal rights, including your rights if the app is faulty.

6. Your data and content

The information you log in our apps is stored on your device. You are responsible for your device and its backups. Because we don’t hold a copy, we can’t restore lost data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

If we introduce optional cloud sync in the future, any additional terms for that feature will be shown to you before you turn it on.

7. Changes to the Services

We’re always improving our apps. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering an app. If a change significantly reduces features you have paid for, we’ll tell you in advance where reasonably possible, and you keep any rights the law gives you.

From time to time we may release updates you need to install to keep using the app properly.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including the apps, website, text, guides, design, logos and the names “Levedia” and “Veggie”, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don’t give you any rights to them other than the licence in section 4.

You’re welcome to share links to our guides. Please don’t republish them in full without our permission.

9. Our responsibility to you

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights if digital content or a digital service is not as described, is faulty or isn’t fit for purpose, including under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770) as implemented in your country. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we don’t guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, or for business losses;
  • our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We don’t exclude or limit our liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for damage to life, physical integrity or health, for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for fraud.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time by deleting the app. Remember to cancel any subscription in your app store account.

We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first.

11. Complaints, governing law and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@levedia.app. We’ll reply within 30 days and try to resolve it quickly and fairly.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Consumers in Hungary can also turn to a conciliation board (békéltető testület): the board for your place of residence, or the board for our registered office:

A list of all Hungarian conciliation boards is available at bekeltetes.hu. You can also contact the consumer protection authority for your area.

12. Additional terms for Apple users

If you downloaded our app from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
  • If a third party claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change significantly affects you, we’ll tell you in the app or on this website before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Services after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
